Research Summary
Dr. Marzulli's main project is to develop a new generation of HSV-1 to use as oncolytic vector. Using Molecular Biology techniques, he is generating a vector able to replicate in hosting cells that express high level of a specific miRNA. The final goal is to take advantages of upregulated miRNA in cancer cells.
