Bridgeside Point II

The School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics is housed in several buildings in Pittsburgh. In December of 2010, the department's Chairman, administrative personnel and the majority of the department's faculty and research labs were relocated from the Thomas E. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower in Oakland to a newly constructed facility, called Bridgeside Point II. MMG occupies the 4th and 5th floors of the building. The space houses the Chairman's office, administrative suite, faculty offices, research laboratories, common departmental research equipment areas, seminar rooms, conference rooms and common gathering areas.

Other MMG Facilities

Other research laboratories are located in the Biomedical Science Tower 3 and Hillman Cancer Center.
